I engage students personally, to cultivate sustainable learning for life
For more than 17 years I have enjoyed being an educator in distinguished school districts throughout Southern California. Most of my classroom experience comes from teaching students in grades 2 through 8. I have also served as the interim Assistant Principal at an elementary school in Manhattan Beach, as well as the lead Science and Technology Facilitator for an elementary school in Santa Monica.
My rigorous academic training -- from Loyola High School, Loyola Marymount University and subsequent graduate institutions -- enables me to support differentiated learning styles by utilizing a range of instructional strategies including cross-curricular literacy, visual arts, scientific analysis and physical recreation.
As an experienced educator, I provide private tutoring for students throughout the South Bay, including Del Aire, El Segundo, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Westchester and other local communities.
